We're numbers guys. We also like to get our hands dirty building stuff. Our president, Jason Barbin, worked as a carpenter for four years. “I learned most of the trades, and I spent a summer framing houses in 110-degree heat.”

Armed with a master’s in Finance, he worked in the stock market trading options before returning to school. From there, he landed at Toll Brothers and later worked for the construction arm of a kitchen manufacturer and in his family’s business.

More than anything, he likes to demystify a business’ financial underpinnings for his clients. “I’ll show them how to realign their expenses, or build a reliable forecasting model, so they have a much clearer sense of where they are and what they need to hit their targets. It’s eye-opening for them and gratifying for me.”
